Once again, at first glance this set seems to be just another remake - this time of Andrea's Accessories Store. It has the same scooter, little turny dressing room, a sewing machine for Emma, and the same minidolls - Emma and Andrea. But I'm pleased to discover that it's significantly different - I love the little loft / apartment / workroom above the shop and the fact that this set includes three brand new minidoll tops (torsos)! Also, I finally notice that Lego has been constructing the minidoll torsos in a different way this year - I was blown away. That explains the sometimes not-quite-properly sealed area around the neck and torso. Looks like it's still a work in progress.

Hi! If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Stick around and I'll build for you while I review the set. I tend to geek out about new pieces, interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I'm easily distracted so I get stuff wrong which I fix up, mostly, but in the end there is always an awesome model, as per the instructions. Huzzah for Lego, the building and creating tool for anybody, no matter what age you are!
