In the finale episode, meet Weijie, the third generation in a family of fishball makers. In case you didn’t know this, the ubiquitous fishball requires skills to churn out, if you aren't using machines. He ventures into selling Fishball Noodles but COVID-19 forced him to hunker down. He re-emerged 3 months later only to be axed once again.

Other hawkers in the CBD have to make critical decisions, and one impacts a career that spanned more than half a century. Others are luckier. Mr Tay finds an able apprentice to learn the art of frying carrot cake and a fried savoury sweet broad rice noodle dish called Char Kway Teow. The Burger guys find inspiration in a Singapore dish that's made only of soup bones.

One of the hawkers celebrates a life milestone – getting married. On the menu, a sumptuous feast that includes Dum Biryani, Mee Soto, Cereal Prawns and Tandoori chicken.
