Cows are responsible for 10% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions, and it’s actually their table manners that are an issue.

Cows belch a greenhouse gas called methane, which is 30 times more potent than carbon dioxide. If we want to avert global climate catastrophe, we’re going to have to hack cow burps, and a Hawaiian company is doing just that.

Symbrosia is creating a feed additive for cows, using seaweed, which directly inhibits the formation of methane in the cow's stomach.
