Over the past week I’ve been experimenting with a Smoke Generator for model railroads. This particular generator is specifically made for scenic application, for example… an incinerator!

It’s a fantastic little device however it takes some work to make it safe and usable for model scenery whether it’s a model railroad, war gaming scenery or a display diorama. However, even though it requires quite some effort to fabricate and install the effort is well worth it.

I will shortly be releasing a very detailed guide on making and building this small incinerator right from building the incinerator itself as well as making a realistic looking fire using LED's and having the smoke exit the top of the incinerator. It’s quite an in-depth tutorial and given that we are dealing with quite a lot of heat from the smoke generator so we need to spend a lot of time going through the installation instruction.
