Today I'm making a bespoke art deco fire surround out of MDF for one of my lovely customers. This is completely custom made to fit their existing fireplace and also to account for the thickness of their current granite back mantel. The customer had a good idea of what they wanted so I came up with a design in SketchUp, built and finished the whole thing and then installed it at the customer's site.
