INGREDIENTS:
6 pcs Hard Tofu (Tokwa), mashed
1 Big can (420 gms) Tuna in Oil
1 head of Garlic, minced
1 Big Onion, small diced
Onion chives, finely chopped
Celery or Kinchay, finely chopped
5 Tbsps Fish Sauce (Patis)
2 tsps Sugar
Ground Black pepper, to taste
2 Large Eggs
2 Tbsps Cornstarch (or add more according to your preference)
2 tsps Seasoning
*You can add salt according to your taste
For the Breading:
1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
Ground Black Pepper, to taste
2 Large Eggs or 3 medium Eggs
1 pack (100gms) of Regent Tempura (Optional only, I only used this as a substitute for seasoned Japanese breadcrumbs)
Ground Black Pepper, to taste
any Cooking Oil of your choice (for deep-frying)
Dip/Sauce:
1/2 cup White Vinegar
1/2 cup Sukang Pinakurat (or Sukang Paombong, or any Coconut Vinegar)
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 small Onion, small diced
Celery, finely chopped (but kinchay tastes better)
Ground Black Pepper, to taste
2 pcs Red Chili/Siling Labuyo (Optional)
2 Tbsps Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Sugar
