One of the most modern and extreme spinning coasters in the world is being built in Waldkirch in the Black Forest for the Belgian amusement park Plopsaland De Panne. Here, the cars rotate horizontally on a vertical axis. The complex ride requires 723 tons of material to be welded, transported and finally assembled on site - a logistical tour de force. For this, 98 track sections are created in a so-called truss structure, some of which are manufactured by hand.
