Forget cuddly otters and pretty hornbills. Rozz is hunting for nature lovers of a different sort. From fighting spider trainers to isopod enthusiasts, meet the collectors of the creepy crawlies!

Eric’s house is filled with things that would make your skin crawl – isopods! These cockroach lookalikes are actually terrestrial crustaceans, more closely related to crabs and lobsters. They come in a variety of shapes and colours and are the latest craze among collectors.

Rozz takes a few home to breed, but their population soon gets out of control!

Our intrepid host also meets with some Singaporeans who take part in the sport of spider fighting. She follows along to catch her own spider, which is trained to take part in a spider fighting tournament.

As Rozz’s sparring spider makes its debut in the arachnid arena, she discovers the charm behind this childhood pastime, and the adult hobbyists who have been at it for over 40 years.
