Finding old foundations ( cellar holes ) out in the NH mountains where early American settlers made their homes and lived. We went hiking way out there following the old rock walls until we found a farm going back to the colonial days. People lived here in the 1700s & 1800s and we brought our Fisher F19 metal detectors to see what we could find buried in the ground. We dug up old relics like buttons, buckles, cufflinks and spoons.
