This weekend saw the return of the European Cross Country Championships with racing taking place in Novi Sad, Serbia. It was a blisteringly hot day with riders competing on an undulating course featuring grassy climbs, cobbled streets and even on the historic steps littered throughout the fortress city. Congratulations to Lars Forster for picking up his second European Champs title. It was also a great race from Sebastien Fini Carstensen and Filippo Colombo who finished shortly behind Lars to take second and third place respectively.
