This is by far the most unique duo I have ever shot. To see Audis currently fastest car, the 2019 R8 V10 Performance, next to the icon 1983 Audi quattro, is something that was hard to describe. Can you imagine these two climbing the Alps together? People went absolutely nuts when they saw them and they didn’t know what to look at. But I can tell you that the old-timer got more stares.
As I was driving the R8, the most expensive and fastest Audi up to date, I couldn’t stop looking at the rearview mirror what was actually driving behind me up the Alps. I couldn’t believe it! I was like ”wow wow wow” all the time.
And here they are together at the top of the Alps, around 3300m altitude. History is made. Enjoy this photo for now. Lots more material is coming.
