Velenjak (Persian: ولنجک‎) is an affluent neighborhood, northwest of Tehran, in Iran. Velenjak (Also Called Roof of Tehran) is located in the Shemiran area in the northernmost part of Tehran, on the slopes of the Alborz mountain range. It is known for its landscapes, mild climate, mountain air, springs, and wildlife.

Velenjak houses many foreign residents, particularly people of South Korean descent who work in the finance and industrial firms throughout Tehran.[citation needed] Many embassies are located in Velenjak, including the embassies of Brunei, Côte d'Ivoire, Malaysia, Serbia and Montenegro, Algeria, and numerous ambassadorial residences. Shahid Beheshti University and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, are also located in this area.

ولنجک یکی از محله‌ های شمال تهران از کشور ایران است. این محله در کوهپایه‌های قله توچال و در منطقه ۱ شهرداری تهران قرار دارد.

ولنجک در شمال به ارتفاعات توچال، از جنوب به بزرگراه پارک وی، از شرق به رودخانه ولنجک و از غرب به محله درکه می‌رسد. این محله در ناحیه دو از منطقه ۱ شهرداری تهران قرار دارد و جمعیت آن بر اساس آخرین سرشماری برابر با ۲۲۷۴۲ نفر بوده‌است.
ولنجک یکی از مناطق مرفه نشین تهران است و بیشتر افرادی که ساکن این منطقه هستند از وضع مالی بسیار خوبی برخردارند. در این منطقه پاساژها و ساختمان های بسیار شیک وجود دارد.

از اماکن مهم ولنجک تهران می‌توان به بام تهران، تله کابین توچال و دانشگاه شهید بهشتی و سالن اجلاس سران اشاره کرد.
