The new Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid (combined fuel consumption: 1.2 l / 100 km, combined CO 2 emissions: 26 g / km, combined power consumption: 16.6 kWh / 100 km) can be ordered now: the first on the brand's rechargeable hybrid SUV is already starting for commercial customers at a monthly leasing rate of 399 euros * net. Customers not only benefit from the low 0.5 percent company car tax, the annual maintenance is also included in the monthly rate.
The new flagship combines the best of both worlds: purely electric driving with the long range of conventional drives. A powerful 2.5-liter petrol engine meets two electric motors, and with a system output of 225 kW / 306 PS, driving pleasure is guaranteed - also thanks to the intelligent all-wheel drive system AWD-i. Up to 75 kilometers (WLTP cycle) are covered locally emission-free and almost silently - a top value that covers the daily distance of most commuters in Europe.
Toyota accompanies the market launch of the model athlete with attractive leasing offers. The technology package, with which the RAV4 plug-in leaves almost nothing to be desired, is included at net prices from 449 euros * per month. It includes, among other things, an electrically opening tailgate, the โSmart View Mirrorโ interior mirror with a camera-based panorama function, a head-up display, an inductive smartphone charging function and the Toyota Touch & Go Plus navigation system. A blind spot warning and the reversing assistant, which indicates cross traffic, also extend the already extensive Toyota Safety Sense safety equipment. This also includes the pre-collision emergency braking system, a high beam, lane keeping and lane following assistant, traffic sign recognition and an adaptive cruise control system.
The standard equipment of the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid also includes 18-inch alloy wheels, trailer stabilization control, electric window lifters in both rows of seats, light and rain sensors, the keyless smart key access system, two-zone automatic air conditioning, steering wheel and front seat heating and rear and electrically adjustable, heated and folding exterior mirrors. The central control element is the Toyota Touch infotainment system with its nine-inch touchscreen, reversing camera, DAB + digital radio, smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as MyT Connected Services. Headlights, daytime running lights and taillights are LED versions.
The compact SUV can be customized with the optional style package: in addition to a two-tone paintwork with a black roof and black exterior mirrors, there are 19-inch alloy wheels, black leather upholstery with red decorative stitching, an electrically adjustable driver and front passenger seat with ventilation and a heated windscreen on board. A 360-degree camera system provides all-round visibility, and the JBL Sound System ensures sound enjoyment.
Details outside and inside give the new SUV a sophisticated, sporty look. The front shows black bezels for the special grill grille and the headlamp continuations, and a new metal finish on the lower bumper section underlines the width and powerful presence of the vehicle. New 18- and 19-inch rims feature contrasting brightly shining and gray or black areas. while at the rear a metal-colored finish can be seen under the rear window and a black cover under the bumper.
In the interior, the focus is on new upholstery designs with a sporty feel and ribbed patterns with contrasting red accents. Quilted black leather seats with a striking red ribbon motif will also be available. On the center console there is a 9-inch multimedia touchscreen - the largest of all RAV4 models - for clear and easy control of entertainment, information and connectivity functions.
The equipment of the RAV Plug-in Hybrid corresponds to its flagship status. Depending on the version, this includes 18 or 19-inch rims, heated front and rear seats, 230V connection in the cabin, two-color paintwork, electric tailgate with kick gesture control, panoramic roof, head-up display, 9-inch display audio system and the latest Toyota Multimedia Package with Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto smartphone integration.
