Today's weather forecast indicates thunderstorms with excessive lightning, large amounts of small hail, strong winds and heavy downpours, leading to localised flooding of susceptible formal or informal settlements or roads, low-lying areas and bridges, expected over the extreme southern parts of Limpopo, Highveld and escarpment areas of Mpumalanga and northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal. High fire danger conditions are expected over the Kagiso Molopo and Naledi Local Municipalities in the North-West province, as well as Joe Morolong and Dawid Kruiper Local Municipalities in the Northern Cape (Credit: Vox Weather).
