Part Two begins with a forensic deconstruction of the evidence and events following the crucial eighth murder case. Under increasing public pressure to catch the killer, the police finally make an arrest - 22-year-old Sung-yeo Yoon.

In a deeply personal interview, Yoon recounts his arrest and the torture that made him to confess to the murder.

Then, in September 2019, more than 30 years after the first murder, the police announce that new DNA analysis has led them to identify a new suspect in the case, casting doubt on Yoon’s conviction and 20-year incarceration.
