Ingredients for Milk Coffee Mixture:
Milk 1 ¼ cup
Oil 1/4 cup
Klassno Classic Instant Coffee 3 tsp


Ingredients for Coffee Sponge:
All-purpose Flour 2 ⅔ cup
Baking powder 2 ½ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Butter (room temperature) 1 cup
Caster sugar 1½ cup
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Eggs 4
Milk Coffee Mixture


Ingredients for Coffee Buttercream Frosting:
Butter (room temperature) 1 cup
Icing sugar 4 cups
Milk ¼ cup
Klassno Classic Instant Coffee 2 tsp
Vanilla essence (optional) ¼ tsp
Salt a pinch


Ingredients for Coffee Syrup:
Sugar ¼ cup
Water (hot) 2 cups
Klassno Classic Instant Coffee 2 tsp


Ingredients for Assembling:
Coffee Sponge
Coffee Buttercream Frosting as required
Coffee Syrup as required
Chocolate Ganache as required


Coffee Preparation:
Hot water 150 ml
Klassno Instant Cappuccino Mix 1 Sachet
Klassno Cioccolata 1 sachet




Directions for Coffee Sponge:
1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Keep aside.
2. Combine oil, milk and coffee in a separate bowl. Your Milk Coffee Mixture is ready. Keep aside.
3. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar really well until creamy.
4. Add in one egg at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla essence and beat again.
5. Add half of the dry ingredients and coffee mixture and beat until well combined. Add remaining half of dry ingredients and fold gently with spatula. Do not over mix, mix until just combined.
6. Add the batter in a greased and prepared two 8x8 inch square pan. Tap a few times to release the air bubbles.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 30-35 minutes until done. Let it cool at room temperature.


Directions for Coffee Buttercream Frosting Preparation:
8. In a glass add milk and coffee and mix well.
9. To make coffee buttercream, beat butter really well until creamy, add in vanilla essence and salt.
10. Add milk & coffee mixture and icing sugar in butter and beat really until smooth butter cream is obtained. Set aside.


Directions for Coffee Syrup Preparation:
11. To make coffee syrup, combine sugar, coffee and water until dissolved. Cool the coffee syrup to room temp.
Directions for Assembling:
12. Take the prepared Coffee Sponge and remove the uneven top.
13. Cut the sponge into 2 discs.
14. Take one disc and drizzle coffee syrup on it. Add a layer of prepared coffee buttercream frosting and place another sponge disc on top.
15. Drizzle coffee syrup on the disc again, add a layer of Coffee Buttercream frosting on top and sides of the cake.
16. Drizzle and decorate the cake chocolate ganache and frosting.
17. Refrigerate to set for 20 minutes.


Directions for Coffee Preparation:
18. In a cup add hot water and Klassno Instant Cappuccino Mix. Mix it well.
19. Add Klassno Cioccolata on top and serve.
20. Serve the coffee with Coffee Cake and enjoy.
