Origami Snake (Jo Nakashima) - Non-modular version
How to fold an origami Snake
Designed by Jo Nakashima
Based on my first snake
This model is easy, but requires some patience if you want make a long snake!
The paper size for this model varies with the block size (x) and number of blocks (n) you want:
width=(3n-1)*x
height=5x
For example, I'll make a snake with 8 blocks, 1.5cm each. So we have:
n=8; x=1.5cm
width = (3*8-1)*1.5cm = 23*1.5cm = 34.5cm
height = 5*1.5cm = 7.5cm
If you don't have a long paper, you can also join two or more papers (like the modular version) to make a long snake!
