The inspiration behind this video:

Loki creator Michael Waldron opens up about why working on the script for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was so much fun. Waldron's rise to stardom began with his work on Adult Swim's Rick and Morty, having written the acclaimed season 4 episode "The Old Man and the Seat" and even being offered the position of showrunner for season 5. However, he took a different path as Marvel Studios met with the writer to hear his pitch for Loki and subsequently hired him to be head writer for the series.

His partnership with Disney wouldn't stop there as Waldron was tapped to script Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which he elected to start from scratch with director Sam Raimi to form their own vision rather than work off of original writer Jade Bartlett's script. As production continued on the film, this past January brought news that Waldron had signed an overall creative deal with the House of Mouse and signed on to write the untitled Star Wars film from Marvel's Kevin Feige. Though the back-to-back nature could have been exhausted, Waldron isn't ready to slow down.
