A stunning model Romee Strijd drew her first breath in the Netherlands, in 1995. As a teen, she was noticed by a model scout while shopping with mom in Amsterdam. However, at that moment, the beauty refused to try her hand in the fashion business. Yet, later she watched a popular TV show Holland’s Top Model and decided to give it a shot. Together with mom, she met several agents and in the end, signed a contract with the most appropriate one.
The beginning of her path in the fashion business was quite slow, as she was still at high school. But in 2016 things changed, as she made a breakthrough at London Fashion Week. After that she walked the runways for such internationally-known brands as Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabanna and many others.
In 2014 she participated in Victoria’s Secret show and a year later, became its official Angel.
Apart from that, Romee is also recognized thanks to her YouTube channel that has almost 2 million subscribers.
Today, she keeps being a model and a blogger.

The father Marcel has always been very close with his stellar daughter. Despite the fact that they live in different countries, they often spend holidays together. Also, Marcel can be seen in Romee’s videos.

The mother’s name is Saskia and she shares a tight bond with a daughter. In a marriage with Marcel, she gave birth to two children. Yet, nowadays, the couple is divorced and Saskia is in a relationship with a man named Peter with whom she resides in Krimpen.

Ise is the beauty’s sister, who works at a ski resort called Snow World. She is also very close with a sister and often visits her in the US. As for Ise’s personal life, she has a boyfriend Leon.

Coming closer to Strijd’s love life, she has been married to Laurens van Leeuwen since 2018 and up till present moment. The two lovebirds first met when they were teens. The couple had been dating for 8 years, before finally tying the knot officially. Both of them didn’t want to have a huge luxurious wedding and so, simply exchanged their vows. In 2020 they became parents to a cute baby girl. Laurens doesn’t only help his wife with a baby but also helps to manage her career as well as deals with his own fashion line NAUTUR.

Romee’s daughter Mint was welcomed in December 2020. At first, the model couldn’t get pregnant. As it turned out later, her career that included strict diets, different time zones and hard work outs caused her such a disease as polycystic ovary syndrome. Despite such bad news, she didn’t give up and instead, changed her daily routine. She refused any kind of diet and began resting more. Soon after that she found out about her pregnancy, which was like a real miracle for the pair. Today, little Mint can be often seen at her parents’ Instagram accounts.
