湖南大学的第5食堂是对外开放的就餐食堂，在长沙岳麓山紧邻湘江，不仅风景优美而且饭菜好吃。阿星打卡5食堂有名的小炒菜档口，平均十几元就可以吃到美味的湖南风味炒菜，档口前挤满了就餐的人。阿星花了26元就吃到了辣椒小炒肉和酸辣鸡杂，米饭还是免费吃，十分下饭。
