What’s happening in this 2012 movie clip?

Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) arrives in a limo to save his family from an earthquake. They jump in the car and the house where they were in starts falling apart and going to the ground. The whole street starts to crumble, right behind the limo. An old lady driving an old car is in front of them, so they go outside of the road to pass them. A huge block creates a ramp and the limo jumps. When they get to the city center, it’s total chaos, with people running through the streets and a giant donut rolling around. Buildings start falling over, the highway collapses, and a truck hits a petro station, making it explode. Jackson manages to move through those issues, but then a building collapses in front of them, so they go straight through it.
