The Prime Minister has announced details of a new plan to fly asylum seekers to Rwanda for processing in a bid to tackle migrant crossings in The Channel.

Boris Johnson says the deal will stop people smugglers exploiting vulnerable people and turning the water into a "graveyard" and insisted Rwanda is "one of the safest countries in the world".

However some charities have slammed the move, describing it as a "cruel and nasty decision".
