Lombok is awesome! They say it is the new Bali. I am not really sure what to think about it, but what I can tell you: visit Lombok for sure! The food is awesome, the people are super open and friendly, the beaches are beautiful and the surf is the sh*t. So how to travel Lombok and what to do on Lombok? I will give you some answers in this video about Lombok/Indonesia!

What to see on Lombok?
- Hike on the Gunung Rinjani: check the time schedules as hikes are not allowed between November and March
- Kuta: Bali many years ago
- Beaches: Selong Belanak and Tanjung Aan
- Eastern Lombok: pink beach and magic island
- South-West: more Gili islands
-Visit Mataram (the capital of Lombok)
- Ogoh-Ogoh festival: an awesome experience where they build huge demons and burn them during the night

How to get around?
- when you fly to Lombok, take the DAMRI buses from the airport to the place you want to go. The buses are cheap and easy to take.

- to get around on Lombok you can take the Bluebird taxis (best option), Bemo (public buses) or private drivers.
- other apps to get around (like UBER): Grab and GoCar
