This is #BMW’s 7th Generation of #7Series, aka G70 - and with that nice symmetry comes the biggest change - a fully electric version available from launch, in a design that’s the same as the combustion version!

And in generation 7, certainly in the #electriccar, the BMW has finally beat Mercedes’ unattractive offering in the EQS. And it’s not a simple beating, it’s a full on massacre. How? I’m going to show you every detail that makes this car a hugely attractive luxury car in both standard version, and how it can be a Rolls Royce level ownership prospect thanks to the 28K ultimate package on this car. Then, the way this thing drives thanks to the tech hiding under this blocky body - one thing that we will have a moan about!

BMW have taken a different direction to their rival in the march to diversifying their line up with electric. Look at both the i4 and the new 5 Series - both cars that look identical to their combustion counterparts, so you choose what your powertrain is — not sacrificing your taste in design for an aerodynamic bar of soap

Same is true of the 7 Series - though, design isn’t perfect. I mean it’s not EQS ugly, and it looks much more like a Rolls Royce, a big old boat. But still hard to love.

It’s longer, wider and taller than the predecessor model - but with a much more luxury focus than ever before. We have crystal headlights with Swarovski, bmw iconic glow grille, auto doors, a cinema screen — this car is insane!

The Car is built in Dingolfing plant - where electric and combustion are built side by side. It has standard-fit two-axle air suspension and the optional Integral Active Steering - rear steering up to 3.5 degrees. Our car has active roll stabilisation function, included as part of the optional Executive Drive Pro, now uses a 48V electric motor.

Our i7 today is the XDrive 60 M Sport Pro - with 544 BHP, 4.7 secs to 70 and a range of 387 miles. Base price is 110k, and there’s no equivalent available at Mercedes.

I’ll also cover the xDrive 50, crazy M70 XDrive, and the plug-in hybrid. (and the USA and China mild hybrid combustion variants in both petrol and diesel) And we will also go over the different trims, like Excellence Trim, M Sport and M Sport Pro and even the Two Tone Paint Work.

The best part though is the £6000 Individual “Gran Lusso” interior and the £28,000 “Ultimate Package” — with the famous 31.3inch folding BMW Theatre Screen, Bowers & Wilkins crystal speakers, and executive recounting rear seat!!

There’s so much to show in the interior, like the automatic opening doors, the M Sport Boost paddle, the amazing My Modes ambient lighting… way too much to write here!

So instead you have one of the biggest and longest RBR videos every to go over it all. :)

Up next on on RBR is the new CLE 450 Drive and MUCH MUCH More!! Subscribe to support us and see them first. :)
