We have our 2002 Subaru WRX engine back from the machine shop and it's time to go through and verify that we have the parts we need to rebuild this bad boy. Step one is measuring the oil clearance on our mains and rods followed by checking the end gap on our piston rings. As Davin likes to say, it's not enough to just assume that factory numbers and stock parts will line up properly. It pays to do the work and measure now rather than be sorry later.
