In this video I outline my experience so far, 1 week after passing my Real Estate Course online, and studying from home in New Zealand.

I answer a question received from a viewer, who asked: How did you find a job with an agency?

I explain that, in my opinion, you are in the driving seat as a Real Estate Salesperson in New Zealand. Most agencies want as many salespeople as possible, as the work is almost always 100% Commission, meaning, it doesn't cost them anything to have you there. It is only a bonus, as long as you are able to function without too much micro-management.

You should write down what it is you would need from the agency you would work for, and then ask the real estate agency in New Zealand those exact questions.

Contact agencies directly to set up an interview. Let them know that you recently got your licence and would love to have a chat. Pick the one you clicked with the most. And the one that provides you the
greatest support and chance of success.

It's important to note that I found the agency I clicked with before starting the course.

Please leave a like if you found this video helpful, I would love to answer any more questions related to Real Estate in New Zealand.
