My new garage is coming soon and for the centre piece I have something very special in the works! Let's hop on board the AMG G63 for a long drive towards Amalgam Collection to see the most fantastic model of the Shmeemobile McLaren Senna I could dream of having in the mancave!

Setting off from London in the G, the perfect winter daily driver, the first stop on the route is a visit to Topaz Bristol; the sister unit of Topaz Detailing in London with a number of very nice cars including a stunning Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster and a new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4. From there it is onwards towards Amalgam to have an exclusive and special look at the workshop where the most bespoke of their models are created.

Amalgam have long established their reputation for creating the finest model cars and if you have followed my channel for a while you will know how keen I am on these things. In particular they create 1:8 scale bespoke models that are replicas of the full specification directly in partnership with the manufacturer. In this case I have of course opted to order and buy my first Amalgam model as a direct replica of my McLaren Senna in MSO Cerulean Blue. During this visit I have the opportunity to see what goes into creating a model such as this, from the original primer parts kit consisting of over 1,000 pieces, through to the break down of parts that will eventually assemble to become my completed model.

You can be sure that this Amalgam model will sit pride of place in my new garage unit when the time comes to secure a location! The level of detail and accuracy in the model is absolutely top level, and you can find out more here:
