Willy Wonka is not the only mad genius of the confectionary arts. The world of candy production is a surprisingly experimental place with companies such as ‘Cadburys’, ‘Mars Wrigley’ and ‘Reese’s’ stumbling over each other to try and create the next best way to annihilate children’s teeth. But some of their wacky inventions were just a little too crazy for the terrified masses so sadly went the way of the dodo. You can look but you can’t taste. Because, you know, they don’t exist anymore... These are discontinued candies that went too far!
