Bose einstein condensate. Class 9th CBSE/NCERT/GSEB
What is Plasma and Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC):
Answer 3
In addition to Solid, liquid and gases scientists are also considering Plasma and Bose-Einstein Condensate as fourth and fifth states of matter.
Plasma is consist of super energetic and super excited particles in the form of ionised gases. For example Fluorescent tube containing helium and Neon sign bulb containing neon gas. When an electric currents pass through this gas it gets ionised, meaning the gas gets charged and this charging leads to glowing of plasma. The sun and stars glows because of the plasma which gets created inside them due to very high temperature.
BEC is formed by cooling a gas of extremely low density, about one-hundred- thousandth the density of normal air to super low temperatures.
