Yuji Tanabe Architects renovated an existing shop to shop with a photo studio in Kanagawa, Japan.
The existing building was designed by Yoshifumi Nakamura and is approximately 20 years old. The architects renovated the ground floor and added a photo studio function. The openings of the photo studio were designed in such a way that the optimal amount of light can be adjusted by using different materials.
