58 hour sub count history of PewDiePie vs. T-Series on December 1-4, 2018.

On December 2, 2018, it looked like PewDiePie vs. T-Series was coming to an end. The sub gap was falling very fast and reaching it's all-time lowest point.

Unexpectedly, PewDiePie began to gain subscribers just as fast, and soon exceeding T-Series. With the sub gap still low, Markiplier started a livestream with the title “I Literally Won't Shut Up Until You Subscribe To PewDiePie”. This gave PewDiePie a massive boost, and by the end of the night, he was over 300,000 subscribers ahead of T-Series.

Eventually, this would help to set off a chain of events leading to a 1.4 million subscriber difference.
