Inside A Modern Scandi Transformation Of A 1,270 Sqft HDB Home In Bedok
This week, it’s our first time revisiting a couple whose house we’ve toured before on our channel! (for their previous home, please view it here (https://youtu.be/-BLC5KScJHE).
Homeowners Jia Hong and Pei Ying took much of their experiences of their previous home, and thus the result is a new space that is entirely catered to their lifestyle.
The house was originally last renovated more than 20 years ago, and as a result, this was a major overhaul to what you see today. Out with the previous mixture of colours, and in with the new all-white palette, which they’ve both always been fans of.
The open plan kitchen, living and dining layout is an enviously spacious area, with clean lines and certain curved details in parts of the kitchen area. They also decided not to have top-hung cabinets in the kitchen as they previously didn’t use them much in their old home.
The dining table is accompanied by a mix and match of different chairs sourced from different buyers on Carousell, and the balcony flooring was levelled into a cosy and relaxing space.
Special thanks to Jia Hong and Pei Ying once again for taking the time to show us around their new home! For more, please visit: https://www.instagram.com/the_bai_house/
