Walking Workout with Weights for Beginners & Seniors // Low Impact Cardio
Increase your heart rate with this fun and easy to follow cardio walking aerobic workout!
Light hand weights are optional but they are great option to increase strength and make the routine more challenging. I’m using 3 pounds, I don’t recommend going higher. We will be holding weights during the entire workout. Water bottles or canned soup work as light dumbbells as well.
We do lots of different exercises while returning to a walking march between each move. Please go at your own pace. If you feel you are working too hard, please slow down, and/or don’t do the arm moves. Returning to a walking March is a good idea too.
In just 18 minutes you will get a great cardio workout while using the weights to tone your shoulders, biceps, triceps and back!
