To enjoy this 3D documentary about Vanuatu, remember to wear anaglyph 3D glasses* whenever the symbol appears on your screen.

Marvel at this picturesque stretch of coast, previously known as Champagne Beach, on the remote tropical island of Vanuatu. Having found itself under British and French colonial rule for centuries, Vanuatu has now been independent for the past 20 years after it was handed back to the native inhabitants, the Ni-Vanuatu.

Around 190,000 now call the archipelago home, with the vast majority still living in the jungle having resisted American attempts at modernisation during the Second World War. The island’s dominant religion is Christianity, though old theories around Voodoo and Witches still remain at the core of the island’s belief system.
