“My biggest passion is expressing myself creatively,” shares newcomer Bryona Ashly on set with photographer Maddie Córdoba. A model and burlesque performer from Northern California, get to know Bryona a bit. “I’m originally from Kelseyville. It’s beautiful there,” shares Bryona. “What I love most about my hometown is how surrounded by nature you are— I find it so peaceful and relaxing.” Since then, Bryona has moved to Los Angeles, California. “I think the thing I am most proud of is all I have accomplished on my own,” she begins. “I left with just a suitcase of my belongings to come to Los Angeles and pursue my passions. I am so proud of how hard I have worked.” It’s when she is on stage or in front of the camera that Bryona feels the most confident. “Being able to celebrate myself on camera is the best feeling,” she says. “What I love most about my job is the creative process. I love the expression and freedom the most, whether it’s coming up with a new act or styling outfits.”
