In light of Father's Day (and our continued series on family homes), we visit Winnie and Bing Da and their 3 kids at their 4-room HDB home. At 1,140 square feet, it might not be the biggest home on paper but it certainly feels very bright and open due to some conscious decisions that the couple has made to accommodate a kid-friendly environment. The TV is wall mounted (so no TV console) as that allows for more space and their kids can run around safely without fear of knocking into corners.

We really like the kitchen and dining area too. While the placement at the corner means that space is limited, the styling and setup makes it look super cosy - and it's a great space for family bonding meal times.

Special thanks to Winnie and Bing Da for taking the time to show us around their cheery family home. For more tips visit https://www.instagram.com/winnieechia/
