I've always wanted to see a yellow jacket wasp up-close-and-personal, however I'm usually not trying to get that close, so here in this episode of insects and small animals I was able to get closer than I ever have before.
for some reason this queen wasp was just walking around smelling and tasting the floor, so I grabbed the camera and an ultra macro lens and started getting some shots, unfortunately I didn't get as much as I like but it was good enough to give us an idea what a wasp looks like an ultra macro.
