지난주에 저희가 레전드 배우 윌 스미스님을 인터뷰 할 기회가 있었어요. 정해진 인터뷰실 안에서 15분이라는 짧은 시간 안에 조금이나마 한국 문화를 소개하고, 또 배우님의 최신작 제미니맨에 대해서도 이야기해야 하는 일정이었는데요. 그래서 관계자분들과 상의한 끝에, 배우님이 영화에서 23살의 자신을 1인 2역으로 연기하셨다는 부분과 어울리는 한국 문화를 소개해보기로 했어요! 바로… 한국 안티에이징 피부 관리 제품들이죠! 엄청 심사숙고해서 열심히 준비했는데,,, 뜻밖에 윌스미스씨의 음란마귀가 튀어나오는 바람에... 빵터졌네요😅😅

물론 한국 음식이 얼마나 맛있는 지도 알려드리고 싶고(저는 항상 음식이 문화를 제대로 경험할 수 있는 가장 쉬운 방법이라고 생각해요!), 마침 51번째 생신이기도 하셔서, 선물도 조금 준비해봤어요! 아내분과 함께 쓰실 수 있는 피부 케어 제품들과, 한국어 읽고 쓰기를 배울 수 있는 한국어 교재도 가져갔답니다 - 혹시나 지난번에 아들 제이든씨와 한국에 다녀가신 뒤로, 아니면 더 최근에는 블랙핑크랑 만난 이후로 새로운 도전삼아 한국어를 배우고 싶으셨을지도 모르잖아요...!! ㅋㅋ

Last week we had the chance to interview movie star legend Will Smith. We had only 15 minutes in a press junket room to try and introduce him to at least a little bit of Korean culture, while also talking about his new film, Gemini Man. So after talking with his management, we decided to try and make a link and connect the film, and the fact that he plays a 23 year old young version of himself, with something from Korea! In this case… Korean anti-aging skin-care products!! It didn't go quite to plan... (Maybe we should have foreseen this😅) but we still had a good time!!

Of course we really wanted him to taste how great Korean food is also (I really think it's the easiest way to truly experience a bit of the culture!), and as it was just his 51st Birthday we prepared some gifts as well! Including some nice Korean beauty products that he could use with his wife Jada, and a book that teaches how to read and write Hangeul - just in case him or Jaden wanted a new challenge after last visiting Korea together, or hanging out with Black Pink more recently!!

This… is our interview with Will Smith. (And it's basically almost uncut 😂 how can we cut down a man this charming!?!)
