In this tutorial I demonstrate how to create a gorgeous semi realistic pumpkin barrel cake using fondant.

Buttercream recipe:
400 grams butter
800 grams icing sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon butterscotch flavouring (I used Roberts)

YAY, BONUS VIDEO! haha I know it's not Tuesday, but this is a special collaboration video with an incredibly talented duo who back in the day taught me a few things in the cake decorating world! Before I had ever touched a cake decorating tool I enjoyed watching their cake decorating for beginners tutorials and trying it out for myself. It was an absolute honour to be able to create a video collabration with these guys x) just incredible.
In these video tutorials, I normally use Bakels Premixes to save on time.
(Bakels is a bakery grade cake premix. Another great one is Allied Mills)

I use these butter based cakes above because they are sturdy under fondant and stable at room temperature, as are the muds.
