The £20 Million Version Of My Ferrari F12 TDF!
If you watched the 'First Drive' video of my Ferrari F12 TDF you may recall me talking about the origin of the 'TDF' name? It came from a famous historic race car called the Ferrari 250 TDF, a car that was designed to race in the Tour De France Automobile in the 1950's. That car - the Ferrari 250 TDF - was incredibly successful, winning pretty much everything it entered. Ferrari's modern day equivalent of that car is the Ferrari F12 TDF - thanks to DK Engineering, today we have BOTH of those cars together to share with you the incredible history and significance of this very special lineage.
Both of these Ferrari's have V12 engines, the original TDF developing around 260hp while the F12 TDF generates an incredible 770hp! A lot has changed since the 1950's but taking a walk around both cars it is aweosme to see the DNA from the original Ferrari TDF making it's way into the new F12 TDF.
