Located in Canberra, Sembawang, this 95 sqm BTO is a prime example of how an ordinary HDB flat can be transformed into one which doesn't even look like it's in Singapore! This HDB flat is mainly inspired by the travels of homeowners Corinne and Fazlie, who wanted to retain the feeling of the vibes in South Italy. With the earthy tones and relaxed feel of the apartment, it's hard not to feel like you are in a cosy holiday home in Europe.

One special area we really like is the dining nook with the comfy pillows. And it isn't just about the looks either - it's practical too. With storage underneath the L-shaped seating (something that is always important to have).

This wonderful home is designed by Teck Hou of The Local Inn.terior, and special credit to @marcus.ip for the cover photo.

Special thanks to Corinne and Fazlie for showing us around their beautiful home. For more interior design inspiration, you can check out their account @cnbrr.hm
