Though we can’t physically whisk you away to see Japan's elusive cherry blossoms right now, we didn’t want to let another year pass by without inviting you to experience the country's most famous season with us.

That’s why, on 31 March 2021, we conducted our very first Virtually InsideJapan tour of the most beguiling of Japan’s cities: Kyoto. We were extremely lucky to have such beautiful sunny weather, an abundance of sakura, and of course – that fleeting glimpse of a real-life maiko for the grand finale!

We hope that this recording of the tour helps to spread a little bit of Kyoto magic to wherever you are in the world.
