How Wrenches Are Made? (Mega Factories Video)
A wrench or spanner is a tool used to provide grip and mechanical advantage in applying torque to turn objects—usually rotary fasteners, such as nuts and bolts—or keep them from turning. Higher quality wrenches are typically made from chromium-vanadium alloy tool steels and are often drop-forged. They are frequently chrome-plated to resist corrosion and for ease of cleaning.
The following are the manufacturing processes:
1. Cutting
2. Forging
3. Trimming
4. Perforation
5. Burring and grinding
6. Machine marking and bending:
7. Broaching
8. Tempering
9. Sanding
10. Chroming
