In today's Fix of entertainment news, House of the Dragon star Matt Smith thinks he's in one too many sex scenes...which is saying something considering this is a Game of Thrones show. The show's producers, however, have assured him it's all in service to the story, and if you know the book the series is based off of (Fire and Blood), then you know there's quite a bit of knocking boots happening.

The fallout from WB Discovery's cancellation of the Batgirl film continues, with filmmaker and podcast Kevin Smith sharing his thoughts. He thinks it's "not good luck" to cancel a show fronted by a Latina actor, especially when considering all the trouble The Flash star Ezra Miller has been getting into, and that movie is still coming out.

And finally, Paramount's Top Gun: Maverick has sunk the Titanic at the U.S. box office, taking its place as the seventh-highest grossing film in the domestic market. Just ahead of it is Avengers: Infinity War.
