In this video I'm doing a Sketchup design of a simple art deco fire surround. I know a lot of people can find Sketchup quite intimidating so I thought it might help to watch me designing a customer solution using it and you can see all my mistakes! I've been using Sketchup for a while but I'd still say I'm a novice with it - I get by but I'm always looking to develop my skills with it as it's such a powerful tool. If you're a more advanced user please post in the comments with any recommendations of what I could have done better, efficiency improvements etc.! Don't forget to Subscribe to see a video of this project being built.
