Inside A Charming Eclectic Home With Special “Cat Walks” And An Open River View
This week, we visit an unusual home located in Punggol (that has with an awesome river view). Homeowners Tank and Charles found an ideal 3-room HDB that’s sized at 721 square feet, but as they had different ideas in mind, had to completely overhaul the space. A bedroom was knocked down to create a bigger and more open living space.
They also had to be creative with the place to accommodate their cats, and created ramps for the cats to climb. Because of the smaller space, further “cat walks” were created at higher up for them to move around in peace. An interesting piece of furniture to highlight was a piece of luggage that was Tank’s grandfather’s from China in the 1950s that has now been cleverly repurposed into a table.
Lastly, the yard has also been creatively used as a balcony of sorts, as the windows can be fully opened up to allow them to enjoy the scenic view.
Special thanks to Tank and Charles for opening up their space for us to tour.
