In this week's episode, we tour a home that is a true representative of what our series is about showcasing - a "Lived In" home. Home owners Yah Leng and Arthur have kept their 1,270 square feet HDB home in Balestier in a wonderful condition. It's been put together progressively over the years, whether it be art pieces, plants, or decorative elements that tie in really nicely into a comfortable abode for their family.

We really like how their daughter's room has been creatively assembled, with the tatami mat forming her bed (and a big open floor area), plus shelving that is within easy reach for her. The walnut coloured wood panels are also great to hide their storage and the entrance to the kitchen.

Special thanks to Yah Leng and Arthur for being such gracious hosts and taking the time to show us around! For more on their work at Foreign Policy please visit https://foreignpolicy.design/
