I've been living alone in the woods for almost six years. I love the solitude and the forest...my two German Shepherds keep me great company.
My 823 square feet cabin does not have running water or plumbing. I don't have a kitchen sink or an indoor bathroom. I do have an outhouse.
When it rains, I will shower under my steel roof. The water can be very cold at times but it feels absolutely invigorating. During the summer months I will go to a nearby remote lake to take a refreshing dip.
I have built all my garden raised beds and have done all the landscaping entirely by myself. I love creating projects...I also paint wildlife.
