CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP ALLEY in South Korea
Today we're walking through some seemingly shady streets of Dongdaemun to reach hidden food alleys! It's a cold Sunday night and our mission is to warm ourselves up with a boiling pot of Dakhanmari (닭한마리), which in literal translation is "one whole chicken." We discover a handful of options and try out a restaurant that claims to serve the original dakhanmari. Ready or not, let's munch :)
The restaurant we went to:
Somoonnan Dakhanmari (소문난닭한마리)
Address: 25 Jong-ro 40ga-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea
The dakhanmari shop with long line:
Jinokkwa Halmae Jip (진옥화할매집)
Address: 18 Jong-ro 40ga-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea
