Elon Musk's company SpaceX launched South Korea's first lunar satellite mission late Thursday evening. The Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter took off aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, the purpose of the KPLO satellite is to image the surface of the moon and search for future landing sites as well as studying the permanently shadowed craters for signs of ice.
